Other services performed by Dr. Wszolek include: physical therapy (electric muscle stimulation, ultrasound, hot packs, ice packs), muscular re-education, rehabilitation, and postural training. These services are performed as necessary for each individual patient.
Dr. Wszolek works with many athletic injuries including shoulder and knee problems, and ankle rehabilitation. He also works with athletes who want to improve their overall performance. Dr. Wszolek does a lot of work on muscles to help with flexibility, strength, and performance. He does this through the use of Active Release Technique, which is a type of muscle therapy designed to help re-align muscle fibers, break up muscular adhesions, and break up scar tissue within the muscle.
