Chiropractic Helps Relief Workers From The World Trade Center

After the events of September 11, 2001, many people felt a great need to want to help. People donated goods, services, support, or whatever they could. Being a Chiropractor, I figured that the best thing I could give would be care for all the relief workers who were volunteering to remove the rubble and look for survivors.

On Sunday September 16th, 2001, One of my colleagues and I went to the Jacob Javits Convention Center which is where the relief effort was stationed at the time. I was surprised to see that many people had the same idea that I had. There were other Chiropractors as well as people from all different walks of life. Everyone was pitching in and doing what they could to help. We set up our station and got to work. We worked on policeman, fireman, construction workers and anyone who was helping out. We met people from all over the country who had come to New York to give their support. Everyone we worked on was so grateful for the care and relief that they received.
